Debi DallaCosta, LCPC, LMHP

Debi is a licensed mental health professional in Indiana and a licensed clinical professional counseling in Illinois. She has experience working with a wide variety of people and age groups. She has worked as a substance abuse therapist with adults. Her doctoral internship training was with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and the elderly population. Through this training, she has developed an appreciation of working with couples to develop relationship-building skills. She works with families to deal with difficult relationships, divorce, and trauma.
Debi’s theoretical orientation is an eclectic style that is individualized for each client. Her focus is to build on the client’s strengths and work with the client to use those strengths to develop better coping skills. She also works to enable a person to grow past difficult life experiences to become a stronger and more effective individual, which reduces the likelihood of repeating negative patterns in life. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages to develop more effective ways of managing their current stress and personal difficulties.
