Joan B. Clare - LCSW - Staff Therapist

Joan B. Clare, LCSW, has a master’s degree in Social Work from Jane Addams College of Social Work, University of Illinois. Joan has over 25 years experience providing individual, marital and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She enjoys working with people who are dealing with the following issues:

Joan describes her approach to therapy as the following:

“My goal of therapy is the re-integration of body, mind and Spirit within the person, and the reconnection to family or community, if desired. My focus is on the dis-connection of body, mind, and spirit, by exploring beliefs, thinking patterns, emotional responses, and bodily and  behavioral reactions to stress.”
