When the Samaritan ministry was started in Elkhart, Indiana in the early 1970’s, one of its hallmark beliefs was the biblical perspective of treating the whole person- mind, body and spirit. THE MISSION CONTINUES

The Samaritan program began in Elkhart, Indiana in 1972 when a physician, two parish pastors, and a seminary professor observed that by working together, ministers, therapists, and physicians were very effective in helping people with stressrelated problems.
